Neighborhood - SouthPark

Parking? Yes. It’s the mall, so plenty of parking.

High Chairs? Yes.

Changing Tables? Yes. Each bathroom is an individual set-up, though not all the bathrooms have changing tables. Changing table status is indicated on the door.

Play Area? Playground.

Toys and Games? No.

Food? Full menu with lunch and dinner and also brunch on the weekend.

Run, Explore or Sit? Run, sit, and explore. The playground lets the kids run free while you sip a drink.

Babies, Little Kids or Big Kids? Babies, little kids, and big kids. The playground can keep the little kids entertained for a while and the mall means that big kids can have a great time too. And you can take a beer into the mall with you! Just be careful you don’t walk into the American Girl Doll Store after a few beers too many and end up buying your kid a $300 doll. I’m not not speaking from experience.

Dog Friendly? Yes. On the patio and the covered biergarden.

Non-Beer Options? They have a full coffee shop as well as cider, seltzers, cocktails, wine, soda, juice.

Beer Focus - While the Daydream lager and Blue Daisy pilsner are great, lighter beers, the IPAs stand out.

Our favorite beer? Pulp Prescription is the flagship IPA and Scott’s go-to order. The chilled metal glassware makes it even better.

Beer to go? Yes. Cans.

Regular Events? Brunch on the weekends.

Date Spot? Good spot to stop if you’re in the SouthPark area.

Wifi/Good place to work? One of the best in Charlotte. Full coffee shop to the side to work before you switch over to beer in the afternoon.

Our Take? It has great food, good beer, a playground, and the mall?! My daughter went into the mall to get her ears pierced with my wife while my son and I went to the Lego store, played on the playground and watched soccer. And there was beer and an awesome soft pretzel. Is this heaven? No, it’s Suffolk Punch.
