Neighborhood - South End

Parking? Parking lot in front that it shares with the rest of Atherton Mill as well as a parking garage next door.

High Chairs? Yes.

Changing Tables? Unisex bathrooms upstairs and downstairs.

Play Area? No.

Toys and Games? No.

Food? Brunch, lunch, and dinner. A full menu throughout the day. My wife literally said she dreams of the avocado toast.

Run, Explore or Sit? Sit with some room to explore. Grab one of the patio tables and there’s plenty of sidewalk for wandering.

Babies, Little Kids or Big Kids? Babies and little kids will enjoy the space and the food. Big kids will like the proximity to all the cool things in South End.

Dog Friendly? Yes, but on the patio only.

Non-Beer Options? Cocktails, wine, mimosas, sodas, juice.

Beer Focus - While it doesn’t say it in the name, this is a Legion spot. It’s a smaller list than you might find at the taproom in Plaza Midwood, but you can still get your Juicy Jay fix here.

Our favorite beer? Is Juicy Jay the most popular local beer in Charlotte? Yes. Is Scott going to order it? Probably.

Beer to go? Yes.

Regular Events? Brunch every Saturday and Sunday.

Date Spot? Definitely. Stop by here for a cocktail or a beer and an appetizer as a part of a night out in South End. It splits the difference between fancy night out and going to a brewery with everyone from Rail Trail joggers to couples out for a special occasion.

Wifi/Good place to work? Yes.

Our Take? Scott’s kids request this place specifically for brunch. The French toast is ridiculous. Add in a walk or bike ride on the Rail Trail, a Front Porch Sunday at Atherton Mill, or even as a stop on your way to an event Uptown on the Light Rail and you’re going to have a great day.
