Do You Have Not Beer?

Big news, yall! Not everyone likes beer. Moreover, there are lots of people who just sigh when we all suggest we go to a brewery. They don’t want to hear about the special release stout, they don’t care how dank or crisp your boi is, it just tastes like wet grain water to them. This holiday season, give the gift of consideration and take your wine lover or cocktail enjoyer to one of these places and make both of you happy. I’ve also attached a few Christmassy events. This place is always a bit of a party. The cocktails are just as prominent as the beer and pizza and people are always ordering them. I’ve sipped a Clarified Jungle Bird and it was fantastic. A tiki twist for the holidays is always a hit with me. They have ½ off wine on Wednesdays too.
December 15th - Winter Wonderland is coming.
Free Range has always had a great wine selection, but they have recently branched into the cocktail world in their traditional ultra thoughtful way. Bloody Marys, Spaghetts (if you don’t know what that is, you better go find out), local rum drinks, and slushies (alcoholic or non, your choice). It’s a rotating celebration of the form, much like their beer ethos.
December 13th - Santa Visits and Classic Christmas Movies from 6-8pm.
These two (soon to be three in Birkdale Village) taprooms in South End and Southpark both feature full menus of wines, cocktails and coffee along with beer and food. South End has a heated patio and Margs and Mules specials on Wednesday. Southpark is a place to spread out and unwind with a coffee or cocktail after getting in some last minute shopping. You deserve it.
Wooden Robot Brewery - South End
A great coffee shop with a full food menu, wine and mixed drinks? Yes, it’s a great brewery too, but this is a work from brewery all-star lineup here. Put in some work time sipping a coffee and meet your friends as the clock chimes five o’clock (somewhere) for a drink and snacks. Or just take a big group and make them all happy with all the options. Up to you.
Wherever you are in Charlotte, you aren't far from a Legion location. Take a group (always fun in groups at a Legion) and grab food from a diverse group of menus, wines, or seasonal cocktails. West Morehead even has some THC mocktails (maybe they have them other places too).
